As the Delta variant of COVID-19 continues to spread throughout the country and cases rise, The Woodlands Management Team strongly believes that we need to be proactive in taking action to protect all residents and staff in our senior living community. Effective August 3, 2021 the following protocol will be followed:
1.  Only fully vaccinated individuals will be permitted to enter inside The Woodlands. This applies to family members and all other visitors.
2.  Family members and all other visitors will be required to present their COVID-19 vaccination card.
3.  Individuals who are not vaccinated may visit on the patio, but will not be permitted inside the building.
4.  Home Health Aides and Private Duty Aides must be vaccinated, as well as all contractors who provide service at The Woodlands.
All residents residing at The Woodlands received their 2nd dose of the Pfizer vaccination on February 19, 2021.
All staff who work at The Woodlands and their sister Assisted Living Community, The Gardens at Fair Oaks, must be vaccinated in order to work at either of these communities.
This policy went into effect March 2021…mandatory that anyone who works at either community must be fully vaccinated.
